Perla Contadina (red radish) is an old herbaceous plant, consisting of a wisteria-coloured root and bright green leaves. Rich in minerals, sodium, potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorus and B and C vitamins, low in calories, it contains isocyanates that inhibit the carcinogenic effects of many substances. It was already used in folk medicine in the past to stimulate gastric functions and facilitate diuresis.
The energy of the purple colour of the root has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, brain and intellectual faculties, while the energy of the green colour of the leaves promotes lymphatic drainage and strengthens the cardiovascular system. Besides nourishing us, Perle Contadine positively influence our moods through their colours.
HOW TO USE
place the frozen product in a cold pan with 20 ml of water per layer of vegetables, cover and cook over a moderate heat for 4 min. Remove the lid and cook for another 2 minutes.
